• Texas State Aquarium

• USS Lexington

• Whataburger Field

• Ocean/Shoreline Drive

  Shoreline drive is probably one of the nicest streets to drive down on a nice sunny day. Ocean drive starts close to Texas A&M Univeristy right across from Corpus Christi Bay. The road winds around the bay giving you views of beautiful homes and area parks situated on the bay. Several of these parks were the home of the 2010 Course Racing World Championship for Kite Surfing. This contest is usually held during the month of April. Following Ocean Dr. down to Shoreline Dr., you will find the Corpus Christi T-Heads where you can park and enjoy looking at the boats, buying fresh shrimp off boats or doing some fishing of your own. If you don't catch anything...well there are several seafood restaurants right on the T-Head for your dining pleasure. If you feel like getting wet, just up from the T-Heads is McGee Beach. It has plenty of nice white sand and cool water to cool off from a hot, sunny day.
